Serving with humility at St Canice’s Kitchen – our ongoing commitment

Humility isn’t often the first word that comes to mind when you think of real estate agents – but at CH, it’s one of the values we hold closest. It shows up in the way we support each other, work with our clients, and show up for our community. It’s part of who we are.

This year we’ve continued our volunteering with St Canice’s Kitchen in Rushcutters Bay. It’s been a quiet but important commitment behind the scenes, and one we’re proud to maintain.

St Canice’s is a vital support hub for Sydney’s most vulnerable – those experiencing homelessness, food insecurity or simply struggling to make ends meet. Every week, the kitchen provides thousands of fresh, nutritious meals to people in need. But more than just food, it’s a warm welcome, a safe place, and a reminder of dignity and community – something so many people are missing.

Particularly over the winter period, the work of St Canice’s becomes even more essential. And for us at CH, continuing to roll up our sleeves, prep meals, serve coffee, and share conversations is a small way we can contribute meaningfully to the wellbeing of our city.

This experience continues to ground us. In a world full of big, complicated issues, the reminder to start local – to help the person right in front of you – feels more important than ever.

We’re grateful to be a small part of this extraordinary community effort and are continually humbled by the work of the St Canice’s team and the lives they touch.
