Now in its 15th year, CobdenHayson’s Art Month is a celebration of all things artistic. Once again we’re inviting children aged up to 12 years to unleash their creative talents in a colouring competition, encouraging them to use their imaginations and explore their surroundings. The winning entrants will have their designs showcased on our CobdenHayson SOLD stickers adorning our signboards. They’ll also be in the running to win a bunch of fantastic prizes such as a Nintendo Switch, an annual pass to Luna Park, Roar & Snore at Taronga Zoo, a Strike Bowling Party Experience and a 4D Experience.
CH Director Danny Cobden believes that the colouring competition is a great way for kids to be part of the important community initiative that is Art Month. “We’ve been running the competition for 15 years now and we’re always so impressed with the calibre of entries and the sheer enthusiasm of the kids. These young artists love seeing their efforts displayed around the neighbourhood and we constantly receive comments on the level of skill and imagination. Of course, CH started in Balmain, an area that has a great legacy of creativity and culture, so we’re champions of artistic endeavours.”
Last year we received an overwhelming number of entries from kids across the Inner West and Lower North Shore and we’re anticipating a great turnout this year. Entries will be judged in three age categories and the winners will be announced in the first week of April.
