We’re taking part in the World’s Greatest Shave to help beat blood cancer!

It’s not every day that you see staff members of a real estate agency participating in an event like The World’s Greatest Shave. But that’s exactly what’s happening at CobdenHayson on April 14th, as several team members will be shaving their heads or dyeing their hair to raise money for the Leukaemia Foundation. The event, which aims to support individuals and families affected by blood cancer, encourages individuals to shave their heads, dye their hair or beards, or participate in other creative activities to raise funds and awareness for the cause.
According to the Leukaemia Foundation, approximately 53 Australians are diagnosed with a blood cancer every day, making it one of the most diagnosed forms of cancer in the country. Our team, which includes Santos Sulfaro, Kayla Kingston, Hayley Jepson, Rose Diab and many others are eager to show their support and raise as much money as possible for the Leukaemia Foundation as well as create awareness about the prevalence of blood cancer in Australia. While shaving your head or dyeing your hair may seem like a small gesture, it can have a profound impact on those who are struggling with the effects of blood cancer by providing the information they need, driving breakthrough research projects and discovering better ways to diagnose and treat the disease.
CobdenHayson has been actively involved in the local community for years, supporting a variety of causes and organizations. But The World’s Greatest Shave is a particularly special event, allowing our staff to come together, do our part and make a tangible difference in the fight against cancer.
The agency has set a fundraising goal of $5,000-$10,000, and staff members are actively reaching out to their friends, family members, and colleagues to help them reach this target.
