Cobden & Hayson is all about community and we have a proud heritage of engaging with our neighbourhoods in unique and inventive ways. We’re not afraid to think outside the box to make our listings stand out, get the right buyers through the door and achieve the best results. It’s not just about doing things differently but, more importantly, coming up with ideas that are truly effective in setting your property apart and providing an added sales advantage.

We’ve just launched a new initiative to brighten up the homes of the Inner West and ensure they look blooming lovely! This week we will be sending out more than 150,000 seeds across our market, encouraging people to come together as a family and create a beautiful blossoming garden. Looking deeper into the research of colour, we found that yellow flowers evoke happiness (and strong buyer urges!).

Because we all move so fast these days, we wanted to hark back to a simpler era when we had time to spend in the garden with our families – and after all, the Inner West is a wonderful place to raise a family. The idea is to build relationships and an emotional connection while at the same time cultivating a gorgeous garden that will make your property instantly appealing and recognisable while enhancing your surroundings for seasons to come. We even have great prizes up for grabs for those who get involved by uploading an Instagram picture of their new flowers in bloom and tagging us @cobdenandhayson.

Giving back and playing an integral role in the community is close to all our hearts and we’ve been involved in countless local projects and events over the years, such as Art Month, an initiative which encouraged local kids to showcase their talents by designing the artwork for our SOLD stickers.

When it comes to the Inner West, we know the market better than anyone, with an intimate understanding of its subtle nuances and local buyer behaviour. Given this insight, we see this Spring as a peak time to sell your property this year.
