OUR SOLD STICKERS. OUR COMMUNITY.

This year’s Art Month saw the return of Cobden & Hayson’s popular SOLD sticker competition with more than 500 entries across our five offices.

Over the past three years, Samantha Elvy has seen the positive impact the competition brings to our community. “The art competition is a great success as it involves the children of our community. The excitement around seeing their art work up on a signboard is priceless along with their local friends spotting them around our community.” She says.

Each year, the grand prize winners are gifted with a large hamper of art supplies, while runner ups are invited to choose an art gift.

This year we decided to print more than one winner as the variety of art was outstanding and our agents wanted to emphasise the talent around our community.

“The comments we received from by passers looking at our window display was great and really stood out on the street. The whole campaign highlighted our aim to become part of and support our community.”

When it came time to choose a winner, 11-year-old Toby took the 2018 grand prize at our Balmain office. He produced a series of cartoons with bold bright colours that the whole office adored.

Our Surry Hill’s Marketing Manager, Jane Matthews said the Surry Hills office revealed their first art sticker for the year at 7 Alexander Street, Surry Hills. “Our first SOLD sticker went up at 7 Alexander Street last week and Oscar (Surry Hills winner) is thrilled to see his design on full display” She said.

“The comments we received from by passers looking at our window display was great and really stood out on the street. The whole campaign highlighted our aim to become part of and support our community.” She said.

We can’t wait until next year but for now, look out for all the entries around your neighbourhood.
