Our local prestige market continues to thrive

While much of the property market is showing signs of cooling, the prestige end of the spectrum $4m+ is still buzzing with demand. Even though the headlines might try to tell you a different story, the upper end of our local property sector is still performing well and is showing no indication of slowing, if recent results are anything to go by. While the remainder of the market starts to normalise, marquee properties are still delivering bullish prices, creating a two-tiered market of sorts.

An example of this was 60 Henley Marine Drive, Rodd Point, which lays claim to an increasingly popular location and was recently sold for $4m by Daniel Patterson and Alex Trovato. CH only traded the property 10 months prior for $3.251m, which represents around 24% growth in less than a year for an identical asset, reinforcing the strength in the top-end buyer pool.

CH has always maintained a great track record in the prestige sector – in fact, we currently hold a 33% market share across $4m+ property sold in the 2039 and 2041 postcodes. We also finished last year on top of the prestige end in terms of market share.
