Danny Cobden
Danny Cobden is a name familiar to most Balmain residents and a name synonymous with the prestige Balmain property market having been the owner of the business for over twenty years.
He commenced his career immediately after school in commercial real estate and advanced to specialise in the sale of major Sydney CBD office buildings, and subsequently worked for a number of years as a Director of Richard Ellis in Asia positioned in both Jakarta and Hong Kong.
In the early 1990's Danny moved his property focus to Sydney's Inner West when he purchased an existing real estate franchise prior to re-branding to Cobden & Hayson in 2005. Over the years, he has nurtured the business, elevating it to be positioned as the dominant agency in the area. The development of the business has included the acquisition of numerous property management portfolios resulting in the company administering one of the largest rent roll portfolios in Sydney.
Danny's role, is all encompassing: from maintaining the overall control and direction of the business, managing a team of over 40 personnel and maintaining an unsurpassed sales record.
He has for many years consistently sold more $2m + properties in the Balmain area than any other agent, including major waterfront homes, commercial/retail properties and development sites.
