Balmain Sailing Club – Balmain Regatta
We are a proud major sponsor of the iconic Balmain Regatta. As Australia’s oldest-running regatta, this is a cornerstone of the peninsula’s character and a much-loved local tradition.
Each year, the event brings our community together for a massive celebration on and off the water. We love seeing the harbour fill with a spectacular fleet of yachts while the foreshore buzzes with family-friendly festivities. Stanmore Music Festival

“Nightmare on Phillip St” Halloween Party
Halloween in Birchgrove is a sight to behold, and we are proud to be a major sponsor of the “Nightmare on Phillip Street.”
This incredible, resident-led event transforms the street into a spooky spectacular with attractions. It’s a massive community effort that brings over 2,000 locals together for a night of magic and mayhem. We’re thrilled to support our neighbours in bringing this amazing tradition to life.
Santa Photos at Christmas Time.
Each year, our Balmain office hosts Santa’s Workshop, offering complimentary photos for local families.This popular tradition is also one of our most important community fundraisers. We invite all families who visit to bring a new toy or long-life food item. All donations go directly to the PCYC Youth Programs in Glebe/Leichhardt & Balmain, helping to share the joy with local young people and their families.
St Canice’s Kitchen
We have aligned with St Canice’s Kitchen in Rushcutters Bay to help prepare and serve small meals for less fortunate folks around Sydney. St Canice ’s is right at the coalface of an era of increasing mental health, homelessness and the real time impact of the increased cost-of-living crisis and it is a crisis.

Art Month Colouring-In Contest
Every year, we run a colouring competition for local kids aged 12 and under.
The prize is simple: we take the winning designs and print them on our official “SOLD” stickers. You’ll see their artwork on our signboards all across the Inner West and Lower North Shore, which we think is a great way to celebrate a sale and the creativity of our community at the same time.
