Chad and Lisa Egan a winning team at CH Drummoyne
- October 24, 2023
It’s been a big year so far for husband and wife team Chad and Lisa Egan at our Drummoyne office, culminating in a number of significant off-market sales over the last few weeks.
Director Daniel Patterson comments, “Chad and Lisa have firmly established themselves as leading agents in the area and knowledgeable authorities on the local Abbotsford/Drummoyne market. Their expertise is honed and their insights are poignant, which is why the pair manages to sell so many homes off-market, driven by an extensive network and careful management of potential buyers. No-one knows more about the nuances of the local property landscape than these two and it shows in their results.”
According to Chad, team Egan’s success is fuelled by experience, a focus on communication and immersion in the community, both personally and professionally. Lisa believes that their male/female team dynamic affords their clients the perfect balance of tenacity and empathy.
They recently sold a stunning contemporary family home with a pool at 1 Myalora Street, Russell Lea, transacting the property off-market for an impressive result of $4.62m after an initial buyers’ guide of $4.5m. Chad comments, “The vendors’ brief had some challenges in that we needed to find them a new home and have a buyer ready to purchase their property simultaneously. Our strategy was to line up buyers off-market, informing them that the sale would only go ahead if the vendors found a suitable home to buy. Fortunately, we were able to find them a perfect new property and after 11 private inspections and three contracts issued, we also found a suitable buyer – an Earlwood local – ready to go. The process went ahead seamlessly, largely thanks to the work we put in with all interested parties.”
The pair also sold 14 Irene Street, Abbotsford, a luxurious new duplex which was under construction. Chad comments, “The key with any off-the-plan sale, especially a prestige property such as this one, is making sure that buyers are aware of all the intricate details. It’s vitally important to provide a comprehensive list of finishes and features given that buyers can’t see and experience the home first hand. This helps them to really understand the level of quality and luxury they will be purchasing. We provided this detailed information to our interested parties which helped them to make an informed decision, ultimately achieving an outstanding result of $4.82m. It’s also important to note that if the build is in its early stages, there can often be some flexibility around finishes which can be a drawcard for buyers wanting to add their own touches, as we saw in two of our other recent off-the-plan duplex sales in Wareemba.”
Daniel adds, “If you’re looking at buying or selling in the Drummoyne and Abbotsford area, get in touch with Chad and Lisa. They’ll be able to share some invaluable insight into how the market will look as we close out the year.”
